I have been waiting a while to find a "good" deal on a plasma cutter so when I saw this one on sale I thought I'd go for it. This company advertises that the machine comes ready to work 110 or 220. It WILL NOT work on 110 because of something that LOTOS already knows about. I set it up, got everything i needed and began to cut. The machine will last for about 10 seconds and then cut out. When I called the "company" the guy told me "oh yeah, that's your problem...it won't work right on 110. Put a note in the box with your phone number on it and ship it back to us so we can change out a faulty" something or other. What? I have to pay to ship it back to you when the problem is something that you guys already know about? And then wait who knows how long to get it back just to see if maybe it works or not??? Not to mention that when calling this "company" the whole thing seems real shady. The phone rings about twenty times and then this guy answers the phone with a simple "hello". Really? No kind of thank you for calling LOTOS how may I help you or something like that? Have you seen those commercials where people call costumer service for a credit card or something like that? And it's a dude that answers in the north pole and says his name is "Peggy". That's what it's like calling them only the dude is Vietnamese or something. Luckily amazons return system seems to be really easy....so far. For the most part though I don't think that I will be making any big purchases like this again from amazon.
