Puma was a name once associated with the best solingen steel blades in the best german made knives. this knife, a puma, is a sad example of the knife smith's craft. the blade is stamped "China", and is apparently not a product of solingen. the thuya wood handles are poorly finished, mismatched and poorly fitted to the body of the knife. the overall construction of this knife is flimsy.

It is truly a shame that Puma has placed its name on this inferior product. I do not recommend this knife and I would view all Puma products with a measure of skepticism.
