Much like Frosty the Snowman, the magic in this driver is in the black cap on top. I searched high and low for a stubby 4mm bit driver, and couldn't find one anywhere! Ran across this little kit in a store, though, and realized that the spinny-cap on the back of the main body doesn't just hold the stored bits in the handle, it also pops off for use as a stubby driver. With a brass insert and magnet for bit retention, it's actually better made than the clear plastic body to which it attaches.

The main screwdriver is fine enough, I guess, but I'm not confident in the longevity of the plastic threads where the collet tightens around the extendable shaft. Also, the bit retention in the shaft isn't magnetic, it's a spring-retained ball bearing which flew out of mine within a few weeks of owning it. (I shrunk a bit of heat-shrink tubing over the end to hold the bits in now, and that's holding up just fine.)

The bits themselves are exceptional. I'm not sure of the exact material they're made from, but they're far harder than the shiny ones included with most cheap drivers. None have broken or dulled during my extensive use. Bits are 3.5, 3.0, and 2.0mm flat, PH1, PH0, PH00 phillips, T15, T10, T8, T7, T6, T5 Torx.

Would I buy it again? Already have! I got my first one at a hardware store while traveling. But after finding it on Amazon, I ordered three more -- two for friends, and one as a spare for me.
