I have owned this brad nailer for the past year and half and have had no problems. I have only used it on soft wood so I can't say much for how it will hold out on hard wood. Everyonce in a while I will have a problem getting the nail to set completely in the wood, but more than likely that is an air pressure problem. I would recommend this nailer for use on any soft wood project, I have been satisified but now blown away by its performance.
