The Large TDI features a 3 11/16 in. black partially serrated blade made form AUS 8A Stainless Steel with a black zytel handle and an overall length of 7 9/16 in. The knife includes a hard plastic sheath with velcro straps.

KABAR 2-1483-7 Large TDI Zytel Handle Serrated Plastic Knife Sheath Review

This knife has solid construction and is well designed for a quick draw and impressive thrusting force. Because of the angle of the blade in relation to the grip it allows you to in effect punch your target using the full force of your body. Hold this knife and use it to stab a target and do the same with your regular straight knife. You will instantly see how the power of your thrust with this knife is far greater.

I didn't like the attachment options for the sheath. The sheath itself is good but I could not get the straps to work well with a belt. I simply removed the factory straps and replaced them with a couple Cross Breed Holster snap clips. That works great for carrying on the hip. Those clips also allow you tuck in your shirt to conceal the knife (tuckable clips). If you try it, the Cross Breed screws will be too large so be sure to retain the Ka-Bar screws and use them with the Cross Breed clips and washers.

The knife was good and sharp on arrival.

I say "backup knife" in the context of a backup for a pistol malfunction for you licensed concealed carry permit holders. If you don't carry a pistol, this could easily be considered your "primary" knife.

I have large hands and the smaller version of this knife just wouldn't work for me. I would like to see a version that is about 15% larger (both blade and handle).

TEKTON 3929 36-Inch by 2.5-Inch Slide Locking Bar Clamp Review

For the price of these, they're not bad. One thing I was worried about prior to their arrival was that in the picture there is no pad covering the part where the jaw touches the wood (or whatever surface is being clamped). However when they arrived they have a see-through plastic piece that slides over the jaw face. The lower one is circular and is snug when snapped on, but the upper one is more of a rounded rectangle which slides on and can fall of somewhat easily if banged. Actually, when I first pulled them out of the box one of the units was missing the top plastic jaw face and I had to go rummaging through the packing materials to find it as it had fallen off in shipment.

The holding quality of these seems good. I haven't used them extensively but I clamped up a few boards just to try it out and it seemed to hold them well. The bars have small grooves on them like higher quality (and more expensive) clamps to aid in holding power. I'll update this review in the future once I've gotten more usage out of them and will probably buy some more at a future date.

Cap Wrench 86Mm Review

...but it works fantastic so we can't complain too much. Made in Taiwan, but don't let that scare you away. It's a decent tool and fits the filter cup good (nice and deep concave area, needed since the dome at the bottom of the filter cup on a 2.5T Volvo engine is so pronounced).

We ordered this on a lark, seeing as there are no reviews, no picture, and rather lacking description. It is the least expensive 86mm 16 flute filter wrench I could find on Amazon (unless you buy the multi-wrench kit). Shipping took over 2 weeks for us. Hopefully yours ships faster.

At the ~$8 it cost us total, it's worth it even though it takes a while to arrive. I rated this filter wrench with 5 stars. The shipping, if that's what I was reviewing, would receive far less.

By the way, you DO NEED an 86mm 16 flute filter wrench (preferably a deep one like this one) on a Volvo with the 2.5 liter Turbo, in our case an 04 XC70. When you initially get the plastic drip tray removed and look up at the filter, you're going to say to yourself, "Awe, I don't need that filter wrench all those other guys said I would need..."

Shortly after you finish saying that and get out your assortment of strap wrenches and band clamps and universal filter wrenches (going from one to the next, cussing as each one fails to do what you thought it would), you will find that you were wrong in your thinking, leave the old filter in the cup (since you cannot remove it), put the drain plug in, let the car down, dump in oil, and then go promptly inside and order your filter wrench so that in 2 weeks time when it arrives you can then put the car back up in the air and finish your oil change.

But don't take my word for it. Try your strap wrenches and band clamps first. That way I won't feel like the only idiot.
