F1 Survival w/ Leather Sheath Review

So I typically prefer larger survival knives cut from the Bark River Bravo or Esse RC 5 mold, but this little knife totally surprised me. Not only is is scary sharp out of the box, but the handle which I seriously doubted, was a great surprise. It's comfortable and seems likes its made to take a beating. The workmanship on the grind is flawless and you would be hard pressed to find a better deal on a survival knife such as this.

Size: I thought it would be too small, but I have to admit its growing on me. It will without a doubt be easier on the finer projects ( fire sticks, tent pegs, trimming, but still has enough heft to baton smaller limbs for kindling.

Weight: The blade is balanced nicely with its center of gravity in the center of the knife. Its not a heavy knife but has a good weight to size ratio. This is a great knife to take on longer treks into the woods where every ounce makes a difference.

Quality: The blade and steel are top notch VG-10 good rust resistance and edge retention. The leather sheath that came with it is top quality leather and well made.

Just go out and buy it, you will not be disappointed, its well worth the money
