Picked up this blade for $67 shipped off of Ebay. I got the black color but it's the same model. At first I wasn't attracted to it whatsoever; it's style is plain and simple...and effective. After reading about many types of EDC (every day carry) blades, I narrowed it down to 4 brands: Spyderco, SOG, Kershaw, and Benchmade. I wanted one that was of very high quality and durability, and 3" or under for blade length. YouTube reviews on the Griptilian and the Axis locking mechanism finalized my decision to grab the Benchmade Griptilian 556, plain edge. I'm very glad I did, this knife is solid.
