I rated this clamp as a 5 star because of the purpose that I intended to use them for. They are nice looking and are intented for light duty clamp such as 3/8 planks for clocks or so. the clamps have a whole 13 inches of glueing surface. If you plan on glueing thicker board just make sure that your straight edges have no bow and come together with no pressure on the boards and these clamps will work ok. If I plan on glueing up big or thick stock I get the big boys out. Bottom line use the right clamp for every job. I do not recommand anything over the 12 inch in these clamps because they are light duty clamps.

I like it overall for the money (under $9 shipped) - it is a backup knife. But it is full tang, fixed blade with a nice hard sheath (which also has a whistle built in).

Mine needs to be sharpened. The reason I gave 4 stars: the shape of the edge. You'll observe that it's not straight after the curve of the drop-point tip. It curves inwards, towards the spine. It would not impede intended functionality, but certainly makes sharpening harder and serves no useful purpose.
