I bought this knife because I wanted something different. I got the "large" size, but by normal knife standards this is a small knife.I am impressed with the overall knife. Nice design, the handle is angular, fills the hand nicely, and has a nicely textured grip. Thumb studs are large and comfortable (wish other knives had studs like these).
The assisted opening is via a leaf spring (like found in most stilletos). It opens the blade very fast (kinda cool). The assisted openning really isn't needed because the studs etc. but it is still neat.
The lock-up is rock solid. The back of the knife has very little flow-through, probably because of the leaf spring. It doesn't matter because the plastic spacers match nicely.
The blade is a shallow drop-point and one of the best features of the design. When open the knife has almost a dagger appearance, with a nice finger and thumb ramp. The knife locks int the hand nicely. There is some well done jimping that is past the thumb ramp, not useful...no matter.
The pocket clip is awesome. Thin and functional. Not a stiff big marketing tool. Or funky with cut-outs etc. Again wish more designers would cool it on the crazy pocket clips.
All together I really like this knife. Neat looking, constructed well, well thought out, stylish colors and appearance, and at least different than the many knives out there. It is a little small (too small for any tactical use), but a great size for EDC.
