I wasn't expecting much for under $30. But, it wasn't sharp at all out of the box. I grabbed the handle and gave it a few wiggles and the handle immediately loosened up. There is a 5/16" nut holding the blade to the handle that wouldn't tighten. The nut may have been stripped but after seeing how it was put together I sent it back.
