I bought these because the red strips (level 5) were not strong enough to drive my fasteners through a pressure treated 2x6 and fully into the 8 year cured concrete.

These purple loads were a little better, but they seemed to vary more from shot to shot. Some seemed less powerful than the average red load, and some seemed more powerful (as evidenced by how far they would drive the fasteners). I know that the 8 year cured concrete is a tough thing to drive through, so maybe that was a factor.

Shipping was fast. The product was as described (with the caveat above). I probably would not have bothered to order them if I'd known they would not be any better than they were. Since the purple loads are not sold through any of my local dealers, this was a good way to try them out.
