I honestly try and reserve the 5 star ratings for things that I really feel are above expectations. This knife is nice but nothing surprised me about it. In fact opening and closing it is not quite as nice as I would have liked. It came fairly dull, and required about 20 minutes of sharpening. thus I dropped it to 4 stars. still it should meet expectations for an inexpensive pocket knife
