I bought this set about 7 years ago and their as good now as they were then. If your serious about your carving you can't buy better tools than these. These are quite frankly the best "BAR NONE"! They come to you razor sharp, and stay that way. and when I say razor sharp, I mean it's like carving clay when you carve wood with these. I haven't had to use a mallet yet, and your suppose to with these. They are a true joy to use. I highly recommend these to anyone! I know they are a little pricey, but save up your money and get these, you wont regret it. I can't say enough about how good these tools are I can't find one single thing to say bad about them, the price but they are worth every penny!
