This knife is large and sharp. It is made in El Salvador. Its fit and finish are first rate. Its blade is slender in thinkness but very strong. The remarkable thing about the knife is its weight. If you want a large knife that cuts like a small machette this one is it. It will never be as strong as My BK2 however I don't even feel this beast on my belt it is that light. For a large cutting knife you can't beat it. I would not pry with this knife. Chopping is ok but the lack of weight holds it back. draw cutting however it is a large razor. The back finish on mine kills any hint of glare. The rubber grip works real well when the knife is wet or your hands are sweaty. If you want a large blade that doesn't pull your pants down to wear it this is it. Sheath it excellent not superior but sevaceable.
