Everybody needs a big 'un! This is the one I chose and am quite happy with it. The blade needed some sharpening as would kinda be expected, solid handle with good grip. I compared this to the K-bar version and this one is just as solid. This knife does it's job when it comes to chopping, it is really solid and heavy with the middle of the spine being quite thick. The tip however tapers to a thin point, quite applicable for thrusting. The only real drawback unfortunately is a lackluster sheath. In the picture it looks and says made of nylon but that is only on one side, the other is an atificial leather-like substance, that appears to be more paper-like, that the nylon half is stiched to. Hmm.
