This 5503 set,is a nice set but its missing gunsmithing torx bits. Chapman has weird kit combinations. If they added the torx bits, this would have been the ideal set for gunsmithing. At $82 I can buy the 8900 (SAE) Deluxe gunsmithing set plus the 2011(Metric/Torx) Euro kit. This gives me the addition of the Torx, Metric, set and I have a duplicate of the SAE hex heads. It doesn't have the little plastic thumb wheel which is no big deal. So if you buy these two sets for $2 bucks more, you get a set of torx bits plus another set of SAE hex heads.
UPDATE:
Chapman now has the 5589 kit at the time of this update not found on Amazon. This new, 36 piece must-have kit includes all the bits in the 8900 PLUS 8 torx bits for use on scopes and receivers. Also includes a Pocket Pack case to store the ratchet and a couple bits for trips to the range. Everything stores neatly in a heavy duty injection molded crush resistant case with removable bit racks. Add an Allen metric set AND ORANGE SNAP IN RACK for Aimpoint,Steyr, etc. to this and have the ultimate gunsmith set.
