I love these pliers. They are an excellent pair of inexpensive diagonal cutters. I use them for work daily. While I could purchase one pair of fancy expensive (each tool) I prefer to purchase many inexpensive tools. When one breaks, I have another one nearby. When I lose one by dropping it into a body of water or over a hillside, I can grab another. When I go from working in my "workshop" to working outside in my "shed" I don't have to bring tools with me; I already have a set in each work area. With that in mind...

These are the best diagonal cutters I have. The spring loaded handle makes the tool easy to use, which helps me work faster. The bright color handles make them easy to find in the dark (I work nights) which helps me work faster. The lockable handle is convenient for storage. The cutter is tough. Most of my cheaper pairs would have surely been pretty damaged up with little dents and dings. These still look (and function) excellent. Also, the handle is comfortable and grippy. They feel much better in my hand than other pairs I own. They are slightly larger than the average diagonal cutters I buy, which is great because they give you that extra little bit of leverage when you need it most. They look good hanging on my overpriced stainless steel pegboard. If I lose this pair, or any other pair of diagonal cutters I have, I will replace them with these.
