I needed a tig welder and plasma cutter for my small workshop. I can barely fit a frame inside let alone two units so I decided on getting a multifunction unit. This unit has a 200a tig welder and 50a plasma cutter in one. I wanted to stay away from units made with mosfets. I have heard too many horror stories about those so I went with one made with igbt technology. I have a couple of friends who have everlast units and they've been very happy. This unit comes with everything that I needed except for the tungsten and argon. I bought those ahead of time so I was cutting steel and welding the same day the unit arrived. The guys at everlast were really helpful and the price can't be beat.
