I didn't notice in description. Blade is stainless, but the handle us all plastic. I thought for 7.00 there was something wrong. This knife seems to be a replica of a metal handled one selling door $$30-45. When I saw this for 7.00 I should have known there was a catch.
The tin is nice without the knife. I suppose the knife can be just displayed or used to open boxes, or as a letter opener. I wouldn't recommend taking it camping.
It would probably make a nice first knife gift to a teen into wilderness stuff.
Keep in mind, handle is plastic and so destroys the durability of the whole blade.
